Cleaning With Microfibre
Cleaning with microfibre has grown more and more popular in recent years, with many people appreciating the advanced cleaning capabilities of microfibre over ordinary cloths. Why is it so good to clean with microfibre? Well, microfibre cloths are made with many small and fine fibres which are more capable of attaching themselves to dirt, grease and bacteria. This also enables them to remove more of these items, meaning that cleaning with microfibre cloths is a fantastic and effective option.
e-cloth fibres are more advanced than your typical microfibre, because we put so much more into the technology.
Why e-cloths are superior for cleaning:
-they won’t leave streaks behind
-they’re tough enough to remove grime and bacteria but gentle enough not to scratch surfaces
-they clean with just water so you don’t need to use any chemicals
-they’re washable and reusable, meaning you’ll save money and help the environment
-they’re 100x finer than a single human hair, then split further into 16 microscopic fibre filaments, giving them extra cleaning power
-each e-cloth product’s fibres are specifically designed for the task at hand
What you can clean with microfibre cloths
e-cloths are highly versatile, and our range is very broad, offering tools to tackle any cleaning job. There is no job too big or too small for an e-cloth, and here are just some of the ways you can clean with microfibre:
Cleaning bathrooms with microfibre cloths
e-cloths are extra absorbent, making them the perfect tool for cleaning wet surfaces in bathrooms. The selection of e-cloths in our bathroom range are perfect for cleaning showers, bathtubs, sinks, units and even floors. All you need to do is give the affected area a good scrub with just your e-cloth and water, and all bathroom surfaces will be left sparkling. Even with just water, e-cloths can remove up to 99% of bacteria, including the harmful types that can thrive in bathrooms.
Cleaning kitchens with microfibre cloths
Kitchens can easily build up with dirt, grime, as well as bacteria. This makes them one of the most difficult rooms to clean. Microfibre cloths are ideal for working away difficult to remove grease build-up which is common in kitchens and around cookers. Our range of kitchen e-cloths is also powerful yet gentle enough to work away the dirt on appliances and worktops, yet gentle enough not to leave behind any scratches. The kitchen can also harbour different types of bacteria that can cause illness or food poisoning and e-cloths can remove up to 99% of these traces.
Cleaning glass and windows with microfibre cloths
Since microfibre is great for leaving behind a streak-free shine, they are the obvious choice for cleaning windows, glass and mirrors. Cleaning windows with an e-cloth couldn’t be easier – all you’ll need is a Window Cleaning Pack and water! These cloths will keep your windows gleaming inside and out, and there’s even a separate cloth for cleaning window frames and sills.
Cleaning mirrors, glassware and other shiny surfaces can be a challenge. Removing greasy fingerprints and leaving a streak-free finish can seem impossible. Since microfibre is so effective at lifting away all traces of grease and grime, they make simple work of this task. We recommend starting with the Glass & Polishing cloth.
Cleaning cars with microfibre
Cleaning with microfibre cloths is very popular amongst car and other vehicle enthusiasts. e-cloths, with their ability to remove dirt and grime yet not scratch delicate surfaces, are ideal for cleaning the exterior of cars, and equally effective for the interior. Simply change the cloths and sponges you normally use when cleaning your car to a product from our Car%44 Bike & Boat line to reap the benefits of cleaning with microfibre.
Cleaning electronics with microfibre
Microfibre is also very useful when cleaning electronics. Items like mobile phones and tablets can easily become covered in different types of bacteria from contact with our hands. Fingerprints and grime can also build up, but microfibre is excellent at lifting away dirt and bacteria from electronic screens – though in this instance water should not be used to clean your electronic screens. Our Screen & Lens range offers products for tablets, screens, glasses and more.
How to clean and disinfect microfibre cloths
Cleaning and maintaining your microfibre cloths is very easy. All of our e-cloths are reusable and are guaranteed for more than 300 washes. After each use, rinse your e-cloth thoroughly and hang to dry. We would recommend cleaning them in the washing machine regularly, either hanging to dry or using the tumble dryer. Avoid using bleach or conditioner, as this can damage the fibres so that they do not lift away debris as effectively. We’d also advise that for the first wash, you wash your e-cloths separate from other items at 60c as colours can run.
